SLXA Armor Senior League (-7.5)
Last season, Slugger didn’t offer a starter bat in the Senior League lineup. These Senior League Bats, often referred to as “Transition bats”, offer the same high weight drop as Youth Bats but have a larger barrel that is also used in Adult Bats and are meant to ease the young player into the use of large barrel bats. This gap is filled with the SLXA Armor this year, a rock-solid Senior League starter bat offering a virtually indestructible 7046 Alloy at an attractive price. With a weight drop of (-7.5), the bat is in the vicinity of Youth Bats weight-wise but does offer a large 2 5/8” barrel also used in Adult bats. The Senior League Armor is rounded out by a pro cup end cap to reduce vibration and a standard 7/8” handle.
